أنشئت الجامعة في العام2016 في ولاية جنوب كردافان. تضم الجامعة الكليات الآتية:ـ 1 ـ كلية الطب والعلوم الصحية (ابوجبيهة): تعطي الكلية درجة البكالريوس فى التخصصات التالية :- أ/ بكلاريوس الطب والجراحة فى خمس سنوات ( عشرة فصول دراسية ). ب/ بكلاريوس التمريض 2 – كلية الغابات وعلوم المراعى ( رشاد ): تعطي درجة البكالريوس فى خمس سنوات فى تخصص الغابات المراعى 3 ـ كلية الهندسة (ابوجبيهة): تعطي الكلية بكالريوس الهندسة فى التخصصات التالية: ( الهندسة المدنية - هندسة الحاسوب - الهندسة الميكانيكية - الهندسة الكهربائية). 4 ـ كلية الإقتصاد والعلوم الإدارية (ابوجبيهة): تعطي الكلية بكالريوس العلوم فى أربع سـنوات في : أ–الإقتصاد ب– المحاسبة والتمويل ج– إدارة الأعمال 5 ـ كلية العلوم الإسلامية والعربية (العباسية تقلى): تعطي درجة البكالريوس فى التخصصات التالية: (اللغة العربية – الدراسات الإسلامية – الشريعة والقانون – الدعوة والإعلام ). 6 ـ كلية التربية (العباسية تقلى): تعطي الكلية بكالريوس التربية مرتبة الشـرف في أربع سـنوات في الأقسام التالية:ـ أ - التربية آداب : (دراسات اسلامية - لغة عربية - لغة انجليزية - لغة فرنسية - تاريخ - جغرافيا - علم نفس). ب - التربية علوم :( أحياء - كيمياء - فيزياء – رياضيات). 7- كلية علوم الحاسوب وتقانة المعلومات (كالوقي): تعطي درجة البكالريوس في علوم الحاسوب وتقانة المعلومات في اربع سنوات رقم التلفون : 0123016773 – 0123509444 - 0123347307 البريد الإلكترونى: eastkordofan.u.16@gmail.com موقع على الأنترنت: http://www.uek.edu.sd
